陈涌村是广州市番禺区桥南街道下辖的行政村，在市桥河南岸，东接蚬涌村，南临沙湾水道，西与龙岐村、涌口村相邻[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代建村，涌口立有一塔，名文阁塔，村因此称文阁涌。抗日战争时期，村被日军占领，涌口一带秩序混乱，人们隐晦地称之为「尘涌」，后以谐音改作「陈涌」[1]。新中国成立初期，沙湾分片管理，东南一带叫陇枕片，人民公社时期陇枕片分陇一、陇二、陇三3个大队，陈涌属陇二大队；1984年是陈涌乡，1987年乡改为村，成立村民委员会，隶沙湾镇，1993年起归沙湾街道，后划归桥南街[1]。区政府资料则称村建于清末，最初是租佃土地的水上居民沿河涌搭屋聚居，常见姓氏是郭、何、黎，宗族关系不多[2]。

人口与经济[edit]

早年的资料为人口3653人、926户，分5个自然村；2022年末，村中有户籍居民4370人、外来人员13022人[1][2]。传统经济以水稻、甘蔗为主，另有柠檬、柑、橙、荔枝和塘鱼。村内企业196家、商铺651家，另有一个建筑面积7500平方米的综合农贸市场；2022年村集体收入合计4785万元[2]。

文化与荣誉[edit]

村有龙舟队伍，约50人，每年农历五月初一在村内河涌游龙，曾在番禺区「莲花杯」龙舟赛中获第二名、第三名。敬老宴自2000年起举办，到2019年共办二十届。2019年成为番禺区首批15条特色精品村的创建村之一，2020年获评番禺区文明示范村，2021、2022年名列淘宝村名单[1][2]。
