永和街道是广东省广州市黄埔区东侧的一个街道，东面与增城区新塘镇交界，南面是东区街道，西面连萝岗街道，北面靠九龙镇。[1]辖区前身为1993年划出的开发区永和片区，2006年4月成立街道办事处。[1][2]2020年人口普查登记的常住人口约10.1万人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1993年，广州市从原地划出约34.7平方千米，作为广州经济技术开发区的永和经济区。[3]贤江、新庄、永岗、禾丰四个行政村原先隶属增城市新塘镇，2005年8月改由萝岗区管辖，交给新设的街道办事处。[3]2006年4月19日，萝岗区永和街道办事处挂牌。[2]2014年，萝岗区与黄埔区合并，街道改属黄埔区。[4]

街道名称沿用了原永和镇的称呼：辖区大部分原属增城永和镇。[3]

地理环境[edit]

街道位于黄埔区东侧，属亚热带季风气候。[1]按百度百科的说法，区域面积33.2平方千米；博雅地名网则记作约34平方千米，两处数字略有出入。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

2020年11月1日零时的第七次全国人口普查登记，全街有101405名常住人口。[1]

经济[edit]

街道是永和经济区的所在地，辖区内有注册企业175家（博雅地名网引述的早期数据）。[3]百度百科记载，2011年全街农业总产值2.1亿元。[1]贤江一带种植荔枝，2021年，贤江社区以「贤江荔枝」入选广东省第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[5]

2009年4月，萝岗区永和街道篮球协会成立。[2]有轨电车黄埔1号线经过辖区，设有贤江公园、贤江、新丰路等站。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

华峰寺在禾丰社区的华峰山上，相传始建于唐代神龙年间（705年起），康熙二十一年（1682年）南樵和尚又在此创建海门禅院；抗日战争期间寺院遭日军焚毁，2002年起重建。[6]东江纵队纪念广场位于永和大道与新业路交会处，2011年3月建成，占地约1540平方米，广场的纪念碑，是把禾丰社区禾朗社原有的烈士碑搬迁而来。[7]

2022年黄埔区公布的历史文化保护对象中，位于本街道的有秀之刘公祠、子安刘公祠和横坑村观音古庙（历史建筑），以及刘氏宗祠、东泉刘公祠、廷彩公祠、翠喦公祠、彩彰家塾、子明黄公祠（传统风貌建筑）；它们分布在贤江、新庄小东旧村和横坑旧村。[8]
