刘村社区在广州市黄埔区云埔街道，名称来自辖内的刘村，据博雅地名网，建村时村民都姓刘。社区居民委员会2005年4月成立。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

刘村社区居委会2005年4月成立，归萝岗区东区街道；2014年随萝岗区并入黄埔区，2018年改属云埔街道。[1]

经济[edit]

刘村与格岗片的旧村改造是云埔街道推进的项目之一；2023年6月，街道称火村、笔村、刘村—格岗片的复建房已开工建设。[2]2019年9月，刘村社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
