历史沿革[edit]
火村社区居民委员会于2005年4月成立，隶属萝岗区的东区街道；萝岗区并入黄埔区（2014年）后仍属东区街道，2018年再划归云埔街道。[2]
文化[edit]
村内的花厅坊保留了广府村落「塘、祠、宅、山」的梳式布局，以及「一街一里，双塘八巷」的空间结构。在2009年被萝岗区列为传统古村落，2014年写入《广州历史文化名城保护规划》，2023年又进入广州市地名保护名录（第二批）。[1]村内另有法雨寺和西泉古井。[1]据2024年媒体报道，西泉古井位于花厅西井街，距今约600多年；火村小学内有一棵「孖生树」，是一棵900多岁的樟树与一棵300多岁的榕树长在一起，樟树被列为广东省一级保护古树名木。[3]
旧改中，花厅坊的古建筑群得到保存和修缮，共9处，包括祠堂、书屋等，后改为商业街区。[3]
经济[edit]
火村的集体物业建成了「广州开发区科技企业加速器」，据2024年报道，每年为村民增加约3000万元集体经济收入。[3]火村旧改项目于2013年11月获方案批复，是黄埔区三旧改造试点项目之一，规划总体量约270万平方米、近2.5万户；2023年6月，一期复建区H地块的2260套安置房完工，二期同日动工。[4]
2019年9月，火村社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[2]
