新港社区在广州市黄埔区南岗街道，辖区约0.2平方千米，以广州港的新港生活小区为主，属单位型社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区以小区所在而得名，「新港」指广州港新建的码头。[1] 居委会1980年4月成立，此后名称未变，归南岗街道办事处管理。[1]

地理环境[edit]

四至为：东到沙步市场，南到广深公路，西到开发大道，北到将军山。[1]

人口民族[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，常住人口为5712人（1937户），外来流动约700人，共52栋居民楼，广州港教培中心等10个单位坐落其中；居委会在墩美小区另设办事点。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2024年11月入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
