横沙社区是广州市黄埔区大沙街道下辖的社区，位于大沙地东路北侧，北靠广园快速路，南临中山大道，西面是地铁5号线，东面是丰乐路美食街。[1][2]
辖区内有横沙村，社区因此得名。横沙原是村，2002年8月撤镇建街时撤村设居，它是街道内由村改制的社区之一，总面积3.8平方千米。[1][2]
人口与经济[edit]
2008年末，社区下辖16个经济社和1个自然村，耕地71.8公顷、山林地202.8公顷，本地户籍6327人，外来者12614人。[2] 当年经济总产值1.8亿元，农业、工业、服务业分别占1418万元、1103万元和16340万元；社区和经济社两级共收入5975万元。[2] 同站另一处写作户籍6303人、外来10850人。[2]

2008年，社区举办了首届横沙书香文化节。[2]
