大沙街道是广东省广州市黄埔区辖下的街道，位于区境中部、珠江北岸，东邻广州经济技术开发区和南岗街道，西接天河区东圃，北与萝岗街道相连，南隔珠江与长洲岛、番禺区化龙镇相望。[1][3]

街道面积13.1平方千米，辖7个社区；第七次人口普查（2020年11月1日）记录常住人口61888人，占全区的4.89%。[1] 辖区原是珠江冲积出的沙田，下沙、横沙两个大村合称「大沙」，街道由此得名；2002年8月，大沙镇撤镇改设街道。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带在1958年由东圃、横沙两乡合办公社，归广州市郊区管辖。此后几经划转：1960年划入黄埔区，1962年又回到市郊区。到1973年，横沙与姬堂两个大队，连同茅岗、下沙、文冲、双沙、长洲，一起重新划归黄埔区，公社称黄埔公社。[3][4]

公社先在1983年底易名大沙区，三年后再改作大沙镇，2002年黄埔区撤镇设街，大沙镇撤销，成为大沙街。[3][4] 镇一级时期，镇办企业从事建筑、建材、印刷、服装、皮革和食品加工，农户种果蔬、搞养殖；设街道之后，职责偏向城市管理与社区服务。[4]

地理环境[edit]

辖区主体是珠江冲积出的沙田地带，范围在大沙东路北侧，西起港湾北路，东到文冲街一带的小路，北面同萝岗交界。[3][4] 博雅地名网记面积13.10平方公里，其中山林382.47公顷；此前面积为15.73平方公里，因科学城在姬堂社区征地约3600亩、在横沙社区征地约346亩而减少。[4] 同站的另一页则写作约14.1平方公里。[3]

人口民族[edit]

街道初设时只有横沙、姬堂、泰景、大沙东4个社区，横沙、姬堂两个由村转制而成；当时记载常住人口约1.81万、流动人口约2.9万，分为30个居民小组。[4] 2020年普查所得常住人口为61888人。[1] 现下辖大沙东、泰景、横沙、姬堂、瑞宁、大沙北、豫章苑7个社区。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

姬堂社区新围村后山有黄埔梁氏墓群，元代起葬、明代仍有安葬，现存7座状如长石棺的坟头。[3] 姬堂将军山的陆泰泉墓属南宋，2008年12月入选广州市第七批文物保护单位。[3] 百度百科还把鱼珠炮台、蟹山炮台等列为街道辖区的古迹。[1]

交通与医疗[edit]

广州地铁5号线设大沙东站，7号线设大沙东、姬堂、加庄站。[2] 医疗机构有广州医科大学附属第五医院，以及街道的社区卫生服务中心。[2]
