白水塘社区是广州市白云区同和街道辖下的社区，由白水塘村改制而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村里原有一口清水塘，白水塘由此得名。[1]清乾隆年间的记载称它属番禺县鹿步司龙眼堡。[1]1958年1月同和全境划归广州市郊区，白水塘编为第二生产队，属同和生产大队。1987年，郊区改名白云区，同和设镇，白水塘成立村委会，隶属同和行政村。2001年7月同和撤镇建街，白水塘由村改居；2002年7月，社区居委会正式成立，一直沿用。[1]

文化[edit]

社区在2021年11月被确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」，2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
