南苑社区是石牌街道辖下的居民委员会，紧邻石牌村，居委会驻地也在南苑小区一带，社区因此得名。简介列出的总面积为0.03109平方千米，总人口约3875人，1550户，其中户籍人口1273人（简介未注明年份）。[1]

沿革与辖区[edit]

社区成立于1996年9月1日。辖区北到绿荷大街，南到黄埔大道西，西至石牌西路的天晟明苑，东到黄埔大道西493号一带。[1]

辖内共5个生活小区，分别是南苑小区、粮所宿舍、省肺结核病防治研究所宿舍、白云小汽车出租公司职工宿舍和天晟明苑；单位有省结核病防治研究所、省旅游局和南方幼儿园等。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，南苑社区入选「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
