赤沙又称赤沙社区、赤沙村，是广州市海珠区官洲街道东部的村，辖区约2.8平方千米，今分属赤沙东南约社区和赤沙西北约社区。[1][2]

人口与经济[edit]

百度百科记该村有1826户，户籍人口3582人，另有约1.8万外来人口；12个生产社归赤沙经济联合社管理，土地以果树和农田为主，属城中村。[1]2022年有904.73亩土地被征收，用作住宅、文化设施和商业。[1]赤沙村片区策划方案在2019年获批。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村内分东约、南约、西约、北约等片区；2016年起改由赤沙东南约、赤沙西北约两个社区分管。[1][2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

赤沙村简氏宗祠建于清道光十九年（1839年），列入海珠区不可移动文物名录。[4]
