华乐街道1986年1月建立后，从淘金居委会分出一块地段，单独成立白云居委会。[1]

经济[edit]

白云宾馆建于1976年，处在淘金坑一带的商贸区里，附近还有友谊商店、花园酒店等。[2][3]

文化[edit]

2024年11月，白云社区入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区」名单。[1]
