状元坊社区是广州市越秀区人民街道辖下的一个社区，因辖区内有状元坊这条老街巷而得名。[1]

状元坊名称的来历有不同说法：一种说法是南宋状元张镇孙曾在此居住，另一种说法是街内曾立有纪念张镇孙的状元牌坊。[1]

社区的前身是1954年德成街道的一个居委会，曾在人民公社时期归太平人民公社贤乐管理区。德成街道并入大新街道的1999年，状元坊居委会成立；2013年起社区归人民街道管辖。[1]社区获得过「广州市2022年绿色社区」和「2024年广州市充分就业社区」的认定。[1]
