太平通津社区是广州市越秀区人民街道辖下的一个社区，地名来自清代的太平通津，那是珠江北岸通往太平沙岛的水道。[1]
社区的前身是原泰康街道的五个居委会。泰康街并入人民街后，于1999年设太平通津居委会；之后太平沙、同庆坊、太康城三个居委会先后并入，2013年起社区由人民街管辖。[1]
社区内的中央银行旧址在沿江中路193号，是孙中山1924年8月15日创办中央银行的地方，楼高两层，钢筋混凝土结构，大厅外墙用花岗岩砌成。[1]社区获得过「广州市2021年绿色社区」的认定。[1]
