龙津街道是广东省广州市荔湾区下辖的街道，位于区的东北部，东邻越秀区，南接华林街道，西连逢源街道，北靠金花街道，面积约0.56平方千米。[1][3]街道因辖区内的龙津路得名，1950年2月成立，下辖10个社区，办事处设在龙津东路701号。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

龙津街道1950年2月建立，当时属西禅区；1952年改属西区，1960年8月划入荔湾区。[3]1968年易名向阳街道，1985年恢复龙津街道之名。[3]1999年，原文安街道并入本街道。[1][3]

维基百科的行政区划表和博雅地名网的街道页列有11个社区，其中有都堂社区；博雅地名网的龙翔社区条目则记载，该社区成立于2002年，由两个居委会合并而成，2014年又并入了都堂社区和一些新建小区。[2][3]百度百科记载至2021年10月底辖10个社区，与此相合。[1]

地理环境[edit]

街道在荔湾区东北部，属亚热带季风气候。[1]街道名取自龙津路。龙津路1930年由旧巷道扩建成路，长约2.3公里，路宽10至17米，分东、中、西三段，东段自人民中路至康王中路。[4][6]沿路多骑楼，有荣华楼、向群饭店等老字号食肆。[6]

关于“龙津”一名，民间有葛藤化龙、龙涎落在此处的传说；荔湾区官方账号的文章指出，目前较有依据的说法是路名来自清代所建的龙津桥，该桥在民国填涌筑路时消失，路名保留。[4]

人口[edit]

2011年末，户籍人口为46498人。[1]博雅地名网引述第七次全国人口普查，称2020年常住人口为5.29万人，在荔湾区各街道中居第14位。[3]

经济[edit]

2011年，街道工业产值9090万元；当年社会消费品零售额约15.5亿元，较2010年增长23.8%。[1]

文化[edit]

清末民初，西关一带中医馆集中，抗战胜利后龙津路上医馆林立，被称作“中医街”或医生街，当时有“一篙撑两渡，威震龙津路”的说法。[5][6]龙津东路的荣华楼茶楼是医生们聚会的地方。[4][5]
