地名由来[edit]
据称村中最早由尤姓迁居，村旁有一条水坑，故以「油坑」为名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年前后称油坑乡。1960年划入炉屯小公社，次年单独设立油坑大队，1987年10月改为油坑村民委员会。[1]
生产与荣誉[edit]
村民以种植茶叶、水稻为主要收入来源，全村茶园约3300亩。2022年3月，油坑村被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。2021年11月，油坑村获省级爱国卫生部门命名的「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。村子还曾获宁德市「少数民族进步模范示范村」称号。[1][2]
