坎下村在溪尾镇东北边，紧挨三都澳的盐田港，距镇区约2公里。全村面积7.34平方公里，下辖7个自然村，属省定畲族村。[1][2]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村口山路曲折，形如门槛，取其谐音定名。[1]

1950年初，坎下归溪尾乡。1961年划为坎下大队，属溪尾公社，直到1984年才改成村委会。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2021年统计，全村畲族人口为202户687人，占村中人口的大多数。畲民姓氏有雷、钟、蓝、吴等，日常通行畲语和本地话两种方言。[2]

经济[edit]

村域经济以第一产业为主，种植茶叶、毛竹和油茶，并养殖家禽。[2]

文化[edit]

村内设有闽东畲族服饰展示馆，辖区内建有溪尾镇弘林敬老院。[2]

2016年，村党支部获评福安市先进基层党组织。[2]

2021年11月，该村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
