太阳村在柘荣县东南，属东源乡管辖，紧邻沈海高速复线的服务区。村内辖太阳、猪头岩、阔罗三个自然村，共190户639人。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：蔡姓人家开垦一片田洋，初称“蔡阳”，为便于书写并寓吉祥之意，改作“太阳”。[3]

1934年设太阳村苏维埃政府；1935年为湄泰乡联保处驻地；1965年设太阳村大队，1984年撤销大队，设立太阳村村民委员会。[4]

经济[edit]

全村耕地约1124亩，其中水田744亩，另有林场3000多亩。农业以茶叶、太子参、白术、反季节蔬菜和水稻为主。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，太阳村被确定为「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予太阳村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
