铁场村位于东源乡西南部，距城关约6公里，全村138户518人。村中以辣椒种植与加工为主业，曾入选全国一村一品示范村镇。[1]

地理环境[edit]

全村土地总面积3884亩，林地2798亩（含生态公益林1857亩），耕地为700亩。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来：早年有人在此冶炼铁器，因此得名。[3]

1980年先设铁场大队，1984年撤销大队，改设铁场村村民委员会。[4]

经济[edit]

村内的隆盛食品有限公司专营鲜辣椒加工，据博雅地名网属市级龙头企业。辣椒种植是村里的主要产业。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的天华山「琼云道观」是县内重要的道教游览胜地，每逢道教节日，信众前来烧香祈福。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2017年7月，农业部认定铁场村为「第七批全国一村一品示范村镇」（辣椒）；2020年12月，该村入选「2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单（辣椒）。[1]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予铁场村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2022年10月，该村被省农业农村厅列入「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
