中心村是三沙镇区的一个行政村，位于镇中心地段，村民以渔业为主，是一个纯渔业村。村名因地处三沙镇中心而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公社化运动开始的1958年8月，农业合作社改成生产大队，同年组建中心生产大队。1984年8月公社恢复为乡，大队改名中心村并选出村委会；同年撤销中心生产大队，改设中心村民委员会。村庄于2019年搬迁。[1]

经济[edit]

村内发展海上养殖、内海捕捞与外海捕捞，村集体收入主要靠出租店面。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱卫办在2021年命名中心村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
