历史沿革[edit]
1970年至1979年间，此地属七都大队；1979年下半年自七都大队中分出，单设大队，1984年成立村委会[1][2]。
人口与姓氏[edit]
村辖大厅、张厝两个自然村，两村已连成一片，设13个村民小组。博雅地名网载为558户、2318人，大学文化以上108人[1][2]。以林、张两姓为主。据称林姓先人于唐末随王审知由河南固始迁来建村，张姓于明朝中叶由屏南迁入七都[2]。
经济[edit]
村民以农为主，种植稻谷、甘薯等，二十世纪九十年代以前以茉莉花的种植与销售为主。水果有龙眼、荔枝、柑桔和脐橙，滩涂出产海蛎、蛏苗[1]。
林地1512多亩，耕地647亩，另有滩涂200多亩[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村内古迹有林氏大厅、少保祠、冠英坊和林陈氏墓，林陈氏为林聪的母亲[2]。村中有坊下坪，今辟为街心花园，民间有“七都坊下坪，没吃路也平”之说[2]。
