下乡村是韶关市曲江区白土镇下辖的行政村，因位于白土一带最南边而称“下乡”[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，下乡与上乡、中乡同出宋朝中期外地商人来白土聚居的说法[1]。下乡大队成立于1961年3月，归白土公社；1983年改称下乡乡政府，其后曾改村委会、管理区，1998年12月定为下乡村委会，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
全村下设11个村小组，490户1867人，行政区域面积13平方千米，2009年集体经济收入合计136.18万元；耕地共1238亩，旱地490亩、水田748亩[1]。村借曲江经济开发区发展二、三产业，工业有村经济发展公司和3个沙场，服务业有宾馆、酒店、饭店和幼儿园等[1]。
