岗尾村位于连城县西部，是林坊镇下辖的行政村，距县城约2公里，林坊镇人民政府驻于本村。[3]村中以林姓为主，林姓入居此地已有六百余年。[2]村里以农业为经济重点，地瓜干产业如今已是支柱产业。[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

地名据称出于元代甲子年间，林姓族人自清流县螺村南山下迁来此处，遂定名岗尾。[1]宋代此地属南顺里。新中国成立初年划入附城区岗尾乡，1958年改为岗尾大队，其间一度称红旗大队，1975年复称岗尾大队。1984年隶属文川乡，1993年改属林坊乡，2016年改属林坊镇。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

全村约1880余人，400余户，分为22个村民小组。[1]村中以农业为经济重点，地瓜干产业已成为支柱产业。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中的天后宫为清代古建筑，属「县级文化保护单位」。[2]

人物[edit]

清代村中林姓人物有林一蛟、林朝辅等，二人分别在广西、湖北任职。[2]光绪十七年（辛卯年）林如彪中武举人。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2003年，岗尾村被省委、省政府评为「优秀敬老模范村」；2021年8月，被确定为「连城县第十四届（2018-2020年度）县级文明村镇（社区）」。[1][2]
