庙前镇位于福建省龙岩市连城县南部，是连城南面的门户，东、南、西三面与上杭县接壤。镇内工业以棒球运动用品、新材料、生物科技以及矿冶和竹制品的精深加工为主，芷溪一带保存着大量明清宗祠与民居。[1]

土地革命时期此地建有苏维埃政权，江一真（1915—1994）即出生于此，他后来任福建省委书记、卫生部部长。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，清初集市设在关帝庙门前，逢二、七赶圩，赶集的人口耳相传，便把这里叫作庙前。[2]

宋时此地称箫坊，因萧姓居民而得名，宋元两代属表正里。明清时它与吕、阙、权三坊合称朗村，归表席里管辖。洪武四年（1371年）巡检司设在吕坊。[3]

民国时期此地先后隶属崇溪乡与崇新乡。革命战争年代，这里曾建立区、乡两级苏维埃红色政权，属于革命老区。1949年初此地归新泉区庙前乡，合作化后并入新泉公社，称庙前大队。1970年代初自新泉公社析出，另设庙前公社。1984年实行乡镇建制，改设庙前镇。[2][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域北与新泉镇毗邻，东北与莒溪镇相邻，东、南、西三面则与上杭县的古田镇、蛟洋镇接壤。319国道穿镇而过。[1]

境内矿产有锰、铅、锌、铜、钼、铁、钨、煤和石灰石等，其中锰矿品位较高。[1]

经济[edit]

龙岩市首批认定的乡镇工业集中区中有庙前一处，规划面积1.8平方千米。据连城县人民政府网站2026年5月的介绍，全镇总人口2.9万余人，常住人口1.8万余人。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

芷溪宗祠建筑群与采陔公祠等四处古建筑，列入了全国重点文物保护单位名单。[1][5]

采陔公祠位于庙上村，清咸丰年间建成，2019年列入第八批全国重点文物保护单位。庙上江氏家庙始建于清乾隆年间，为省级文物保护单位。[5][7]

丰图村的丰图宗祠建筑群由泰孚、翠岩、含山三座公祠组成，是省级文物保护单位。[6]

汉剧、十番音乐、芷溪花灯与红龙缠柱四项已进入国家级非遗名录。[1]

庙前村的孔清祠在1929年5月红四军进攻龙岩前夕，曾接见闽西地方武装的领导人，如今是福建省党史教育基地。[4]
