桂花村是朋口镇下辖的行政村，位于群山之中，是周围地势最高的村子。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子海拔在630米以上，原先称为上村。1911年，为避免与赖源乡的上村同名，因开基时村中种有桂花树，改名桂花村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

桂花村于2020年12月入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」，主导产业为兰花。[1]
