地名由来[edit]
村委会设在邓坑自然村。该自然村在五个自然村中规模最大，村委会便以它的名字命名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1949年设邓坑村，属大禾区。1952年改设邓坑乡，仍在大禾区内，至1955年止；1956年至1957年属武北区邓坑乡。人民公社时期为大禾公社邓坑大队，1984年起改为大禾乡邓坑村民委员会。[1][2]
人口民族[edit]
2013年时，全村有429户，人口1998人。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的邓坑桥又名永金桥，为单孔石拱风雨桥，全长27米，宽5.2米，拱跨9.5米，桥上建有桥屋9间。[1][2][3]
桥屋的栋梁上墨书“皇清乾隆乙未岁孟冬月鼎建”，据此可知该桥始建于乾隆四十年（1775年）。该桥现为武平县县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]
村中另有太平庵等古迹。[2]
文化[edit]
2024年1月和2021年1月，邓坑村先后被命名为2023年度和2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
