六甲村是武东镇下辖的行政村，村名来自下六甲一带的六甲圩，2025年3月入选福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

下六甲中心设有六甲圩，村名由此而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初年设六甲区。1929年红军入闽，在溪西村上书堂建立过红色政权「苏区」，并设中共六甲区委。[3]

此后实行保甲，设三芳、乾育两保，归六甲乡。建国后称育芳乡，隶武东区，1956年又称六甲乡，归十方区。1958年再隶六甲乡，1961年设六甲大队，隶六甲公社，1965年归武东公社，1984年设武东乡六甲村委会，属武东镇。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2025年3月，六甲村入选「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」名单。[1]

2024年1月，六甲村被命名为2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
