和安村位于岩前镇政府北侧，地处龙樟山（五指山）下，龙樟山海拔约800米。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

早期有罗、廖、李三姓在此开基，后来刘、钟二姓迁入，开基的三姓逐渐减少。村名按当地方言谐音，称为「和畅」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地设和畅保，建国后先归和畅、后归宁洋乡管辖。1958年组建和安大队，1984年改为和安村委会，地名一直沿用。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
