大布村位于岩前镇南部的闽粤交界处，是武平县南端的边界村，205国道与长深高速公路穿村而过。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村境早年多大树，俗称大树村；此后逐渐演变为大埔，音译作大布。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地设岩南保，隶属岩前镇。建国初期名为大布村，并设大布乡，先后归岩前区、岩象区管辖。1958年撤区并乡，村归岩前乡；公社化时期建起大布大队，隶属岩前公社。1984年设大布村委会，归岩前镇领导。[1]

建国后，人民政府把此村认定为老区村。[1]

自然环境[edit]

村境属低山丘陵盆地，四周群山环绕，境内溪流清澈。村内主要农产品为马铃薯、烤烟、大豆与李子。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，列入「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单；2020年12月，入选「2020年度福建省一村一品示范村」名单（蔬菜）。[1]

2021年10月，被龙岩市农业农村局认定为「龙岩市2021年市级一村一品专业村」（蔬菜）；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
