下坑村是福建省龙岩市上杭县珊瑚乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境东南部，汀江流经村境。村内的新水源保护区是上杭城区的饮用水来源。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

相传村子原名夏康村，因地势较低，且聚居在小溪坑两旁，遂取名下坑。[1]

民国时为彩坑保；1949年后为珊瑚村下坑农会分会，1952年划为平安区珊瑚乡，1958年公社化后称官庄公社光辉大队，1968年后改称下坑大队，1984年改为官庄乡下坑村民委员会，1987年划归珊瑚乡。[2]

村辖4个自然村，共8个村民小组，村委会驻下坑自然村。[2]

水源与环境[edit]

村里的新水源保护区为上杭城区供水，其中横滩自然村是城区饮用水的主要供水点。[1][4]

近年来，村里以创建省级生态村为抓手，结合新水源保护区的环境治理，推进道路硬化、人饮工程和厕所改造。[3]
