新风村位于官庄畲族乡西南片，少数民族人口占全村的33%，是乡里的少数民族行政村之一。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明清时此地称三围，由蓝屋驿的围子里、坪上的围屋岭子上与石子岗的围屋下三处合成。民国时以“礼、义、廉、耻”之四维，设四维保；1941年，新仁、四维两村联保，取自由博爱之意改名博爱；1966年改称新风。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后初期称博爱村；1956年改称四维村并立高级社。[2] 公社化后的1958年，此地为官庄公社博爱大队，1966年改为新风大队。[2] 1984年起属官庄乡，村级机构为新风村民委员会；1988年随畲族乡体制改为官庄畲族乡新风村民委员会。[2]

人口民族[edit]

少数民族约占全村人口的三成三，全村总人数2369人。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月把本村定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
