龙角村位于官庄畲族乡北端，临近汀江河，距乡集镇约8公里，与长汀县羊牯乡相连。[1]

地名由来[edit]

汀江龙潭东岸有一块天然大石，经年风化后形状像一条龙，它又位于龙潭的东角，因此清代以来这里便叫龙角。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属平安里，民国时实行保甲。[2] 此后于1984年定为官庄乡的龙角村民委员会，1988年起属官庄畲族乡。[2] 村内辖7个自然村，有4个村民小组。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村有4个村民小组，256户1263人。[1]

经济[edit]

烤烟是本村的主要支柱产业。[1]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，把本村命名为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
