保安村是下都镇下辖的行政村，位于下都镇最西端，与广东省梅州市蕉岭县、龙岩市武平县接壤，是闽粤两省边际的前沿村。[1][2]

开村的村民为求平安吉利，取村名保安。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属来苏里，民国时划入龙文乡，设砂埔保。解放初先设农会小组，1952年并入砂睦乡。[3]

合作化后隶属东风公社砂睦大队，此后随砂睦一并归入中都公社一带的管辖，1984年归中都乡砂睦村民委员会。1986年本村自砂睦析出，同下都一道从中都乡分出，成为下都乡保安村民委员会；2015年改乡为镇后改为下都镇保安村民委员会。[3]

地理环境[edit]

省际公路（稔田—南寨）穿村而过。村中辖一个自然村，即保安自然村，村委会驻地也在此。[1][3]

经济[edit]

村民收入以种养为主：田里种烤烟与水稻，山上多栽沙田柚，养殖以生猪为重点，约六成五的农户养有一定规模的生猪。山地出产红菇、杂菇等土特产。[2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，把「2022年福建省卫生村」的称号授予本村。2024年1月，村庄获评「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]

2003年以来，村民连续十年经县政府审验，被认定为「信用村」。[2]
