上村是上杭县太拔镇下辖的行政村，距镇政府近20千米，乘车需半小时以上，村子与永定的合溪乡相邻。全村有6个自然村、13个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地隶属胜运里，民国时为上村保。解放初成立上村农会分会；1956年组成上村高级社，1958年实行公社化后设上村大队。[2]

1984年改称太拔乡上村村民委员会，2014年改称太拔镇上村村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

村里没有固定的村财来源，收入主要靠上级的财政转移支付，农民收入则靠种植中稻、烤烟，以及生姜、小米椒、芋子等经济作物，另有外出打工，个别农户还小规模养猪。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，上村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
