下车村是福建省龙岩市上杭县南阳镇东部的行政村，离镇政府约10公里，东部和北部与连城县新泉镇接壤。[2][1]

村中有下车、罗屋坑、陈坑、障背四个自然村，共7个村民小组。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

村名由来：相传有龚姓开基者推车路过此地，在此停车落户，村因此叫下车。[1]

土地革命时期此地属新泉区苏维埃；民国时归连城县新泉乡管辖，设下车保。[3]

新中国成立初改属涂车乡。1958年1月划入上杭县后，同年10月公社化，先为涂车公社的下车大队，1959年并入南阳公社。[3]

1984年后改为南阳乡的下车村民委员会，1988年起改属南阳镇。村委会驻罗屋坑自然村。[3]

地理环境[edit]

205国道在村中穿行约3公里，永武高速公路在村中穿行约3.5公里。全村总面积约10平方千米。[1]

矶头电站建成后，大量农田淹没成为库区，村里的鱼塘养殖面积至2012年已有500亩，库湾养殖约200亩。[2]

人口民族[edit]

全村273户、1075人，耕地751亩，山林23748亩，为博雅地名网所载，未注明年份。村中有龚、魏、罗、温、黄五个姓氏。[2]

经济[edit]

下车村是库区移民开发村，也被列为县内一村一品的水产渔业村。[2]

文化[edit]

福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把下车村列为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
