金湖村是福建省龙岩市上杭县古田镇下辖的村，位于古田镇西北部，海拔约870米。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子地形自北向南呈一条狭长的坑，原名赤水坑，1956年改称金湖。[3]

1929年红四军入闽，此地设立苏维埃政权，归北五区管辖。民国初隶属上杭县第三区，1935年至1949年9月归第四区管辖，隶属云田乡。解放初先设云田支会，1953年划归云田镇（第十三区）。[2]

1990年5月，本村从邻村划出，单独设立金湖村民委员会。[2]

村辖金湖一个自然村，共2个村民小组。[2]

博雅地名网所载本村荣誉有：2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年12月，被福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
