寨背村是宣成乡下辖的行政村，村名的来历有一段民间传说。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据传早先附近一个村有一次会期，寨背人口少，承担不起会期的经费，便让别村先出，村名因此得来。村名中的「寨」字为同音字替代。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1961年，这里设寨背大队。1984年体制变动后成为村民委员会的所在，至今建制未变。新村部建于2015年，2016年迁到此处办公。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年6月，本村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
