八联村位于岐岭镇东南部，与下洋镇双洋村毗邻，全村有7个村民小组。[1]村中有一座水电站，产业以烤烟、西瓜、绞股蓝和竹业为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名来由：此处原有八个自然村，合起来称「八联」。[1]

新中国成立前此地为笙东乡的调和保；之后划入下洋区，1958年一度并入下洋的火箭公社。1971年改属岐岭公社，并设立八联大队。自1984年起隶属岐岭乡，2020年1月起隶属岐岭镇。[1]
