双溪村位于城郊镇西南部，与广东的茶阳镇相邻，距县城约4公里。[1]

村子位于桐树坪与邱家坪两条小溪的交汇处，因此取名双溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

双溪在解放前属九乡的兰华保；1949年后，它先并入书院乡，又设立古镇村的双溪农会。公社时期，这里归古镇公社，名为双溪大队；1968年8月改隶城关公社。1984年初，它划归城郊公社，同年四月再属城郊乡，村委会名为双溪村民委员会。[1]

2021年11月，村子获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。2025年7月，村子被确认为「龙岩市永定区2025年区级一村一品专业村」，产业为灵芝。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林地11828亩、耕地360亩，全村总面积12190亩。村内有5个自然村、6个村民小组，村子于2007年纳入县城区规划。[1]

经济[edit]

主要产业有烤烟、六月红早熟芋、沙田柚和蜂蜜。[1]
