下坑社区是福建省龙岩市永定区凤城街道下辖的社区，位于县城沿河南路，东至庵子前，西至南山公园，北临永定河畔。[2]

地名因位于老城区东南、半坑村下方的坑口而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年前，此地归九乡统辖，其中包括新田、龙磜两保。1958年，下坑村一度划入东联乡，之后又并入书院大队。[1]

1984年，此处隶属凤城镇书院村委会；1987年改属书院社区居民委员会。1997年，县政府批准从书院社区中分出一块，另设下坑社区居民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年1月，社区被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年11月，被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生社区」。2023年1月，被命名为「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2024年1月，又被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
