山前村位于岩山镇北部，距镇政府驻地约10公里，离新罗区城区约45公里。[1][2]

村名的来历：村子位于焦山之前，由此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地属北山保，解放初归玉山乡管辖，1956年改组为新民农业高级社。[1]

1958年以后几经合并与分立，1974年分出另成大队，1984年起为村委会，隶属岩山乡；2014年起由岩山镇山前村委会管辖。[1]

2020年12月，村子进入福建省2019年度「一村一品」示范村的名单，产品为水蜜桃；2021年10月，龙岩市农业农村局把村子定为2021年市级「一村一品」专业村，仍以水蜜桃为主。2021年1月、2024年1月，村子先后被命名为2020年度、2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

经济[edit]

村中发展高山生态农业，种植高山水蜜桃、高山芙蓉李和高山紫色葡萄，并有「岩山水蜜桃」等品牌。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子海拔较高，昼夜温差大，适合高山种植。[2]
