上湾村是福建省龙岩市新罗区江山镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，在梅花山国家级自然保护区南麓，海拔约1120米，是革命基点村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网，是因为山体弯曲，又位于相邻村庄的上方。与下湾村原先合称大湾，解放前名为林挖村。[1]

解放后此地归江山区岭顶乡，1957年划入万山乡岭顶村。1958年以大挖之名设生产大队，隶万山公社，1959年改隶江山公社。1981年大挖一分为二，成上挖、下挖两个大队；1984年上挖设村委会，隶属江山乡。[1]

2007年8月，因“挖”字的偏旁为生僻字，按地名规范改名为上湾村。2011年7月起属江山镇。[1]
