中心村是福建省龙岩市新罗区适中镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域的中心，村名取自它所在的镇域中心点。319国道贯通全境，距龙岩市区约36公里。镇政府驻地即在本村辖区内。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初此地称中心镇，不久改为中心乡。1958年归适中公社，成为中心大队；1984年成立适中乡中心村委会，1989年起属适中镇。[1]

地理与社会[edit]

自古以来，此地便是适中历届政府的所在地，镇政府、中学、医院、税务与银行网点等都设在辖区内。[2]

村境人多地少，矿产不丰，仅有少量煤矿与石灰石。居民多以种养、商贸和运输为生。[2]

村内有私立文奎初级中学，1941年秋由当地热心教育的人士创办，即今适中中学，设于本村辖区内。[2]

文化遗产[edit]

村内有多座方土楼，包括瑞云楼（即典常楼）与古丰楼等。典常楼为清乾隆年间建造的谢姓民居，2006年公布为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。[1][2][4]

中学校园内的魁楼建于宋代，是适中人为鼓励子弟科举而立的纪念场所，与白云堂、文明塔的建造年代相近。白云堂是盂兰盆盛会的主要道场。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2010年，中心村被列为「第五批中国历史文化名村」。2012年12月，村庄被列入「第一批中国传统村落」名录。[1]

本村在龙岩市2022年度「平安村居（社区）」名单之内，名单公布于2023年1月。2026年1月，村庄列入「福建省2026年度乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
