溪西村是福建省龙岩市新罗区铁山街道下辖的行政村，位于龙川西岸，距龙岩中心城区约3公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村庄坐落在龙川西岸，处于铁石洋片的西部，因而取名溪西。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这里解放前属新罗镇，解放初归附城区铁石村，1957年后归铁山乡。1958年起由铁山公社管辖，其后经历多次划转与分设，1984年设溪西村委会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

境内有高岭土矿，村办的采矿洞与选矿厂是村里的主要经营项目，产品除在国内销售外，还远销东南亚、日本与泰国等地。[2]

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名村庄为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2024年1月，获评2023年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
