后山村是福建省南平市建瓯市川石乡中部的行政村，村部距川石集镇9公里，是革命老区村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄背靠一条厚实的山脉，原名“厚山”，后因音同改作“后山”。[1]

解放前，闽北游击队以陈贵芳为首，曾长期驻扎于村内里厂、瓜林杨梅崙一带的深山。村中有4人在建国前为革命献出生命，被追认为革命烈士。[1]

1949年本村属东游四区后山乡；1951年改归川石十一区，仍称后山乡；1958年为川石公社后山大队，1984年定名为后山村。[1]

2017年8月，后山村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]

2021年11月，后山村获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖八个自然村，依次为瓜林、连屯、东安、里厂、外窠、定上、红新，以及村名所在的后山。[1]
