湖头村位于小松镇南部，离建瓯城区约十三公里，是小松镇的一个行政村。[1]村名据博雅地名网解释，村址地势低洼，洪水容易流入。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年时属丰乐五区湖头乡，1952年改属小松十二区湖头乡，1958年成为小松公社湖头大队，1984年改用今名。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

2025年9月，湖头村的供销记忆馆和数处民居列入建瓯市人民政府公布的第八批历史建筑名录。[2]

文化[edit]

2020年8月，湖头村入选「第二批全国乡村旅游重点村」名单。[1]2021年2月，司法部与民政部把湖头村列为「第八批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]2021年11月，省爱卫办授予湖头村「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]2021年12月，湖头村被确定为「福建省第二批高级版绿盈乡村（乡镇）」，民政部办公厅确认其为「全国村级议事协商创新实验试点单位」。[1]2025年3月，湖头村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」，并被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
