1972年析出设立上村大队，归吴屯公社管辖；1984年改为上村村民委员会，归吴屯乡管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

闽赣古驿道焦岭关遗址位于村内，年代为宋代，是县级文物保护单位。[1]
