东平村地处政和县西北，是东平镇的集镇所在地，镇政府驻此，海拔210米。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

村子在1958年组成东平大队，归苏区公社管辖，直到1984年才转为行政村，村民委员会也于当年建立。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域位于政和、松溪、建阳、建瓯四县（市）的交界处，交通便利，适宜营造杉、松等用材林。山间产出毛竹、锥栗、杨梅，还有柑桔、茶叶，农副产品以茶叶、烟叶和食用菌为主。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

东街尾的虎头顶上立有一座建松政革命根据地纪念碑，建于1998年，它属于县级文物保护单位。[1]

地方小吃[edit]

东平扁肉、小胳、胰子是村里的特色小吃。[2]
