溪东乡是福建省南平市松溪县北部的乡，乡政府驻溪东村。东、南、西三面与渭田镇接壤，西北与北面和浦城县富岭镇交界，东北与浙江省庆元县毗邻。[1][2][5]

乡名来自村落的位置。据博雅地名网所载，早年村民先在溪流东岸聚居，村名因此为溪东；乡政府后来设在这里，乡名随之而来。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

北宋开宝八年（975年）起，此地属东平乡豪田里，此后沿袭至清末。[4]

1936年划归渭田区。1940年分设渭田、溪东两乡，1941年溪东乡改称周墩乡。1949年9月复设周墩乡，仍属渭田区。[4]

1956年4月，周墩乡拆分为溪东、雷厝、周墩、古衕、西边五乡。1958年5月设溪东、榉上两乡，同年10月撤销，改为两个大队，隶属上游人民公社。[4]

1962年8月设溪东、榉上、周墩三个公社，1966年8月三社并入溪东公社。1984年10月实行政社分开，重设乡级建制，溪东乡由此设立。[4]

溪东乡于2014年6月获环境保护部颁「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2020年12月，又得福建省爱卫办授予的「福建省卫生乡镇」称号。2022年10月，省农业农村厅将其列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

全县最高峰鸾峰山（亦称龙头山）海拔1349米，位于乡境内。[5]

溪东溪源于龙头山，自北向南流经溪东村，最后汇入松溪。[5]

境内蕴藏钨矿，另有大理石与花岗岩，气候属亚热带湿润季风气候。[3][1]

名胜古迹[edit]

雷畲村的雷氏宗祠为县级文物保护单位。2012年，县政府增补其为第四批县级文物保护单位，保护区向四周各外扩10米。通知中称它是全县唯一列入省涉台文物名录的文物点。[7]

古衕村的五谷仙殿同为县级文物保护单位，建于清代。戏台后侧间壁上方悬挂光绪四年的「降福孔皆」横匾，檐下则有民国十年的「雨泽因旨」横匾。[8][9]

每年农历五月二十四、二十五为五谷仙殿的香期，各地信众齐聚，抬着五谷仙轿，锣鼓喧天。[8]
