铁场村是浦城县山下乡的行政村，东与临江镇井栏村相接。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村中原有炼铁的场所，村名由此而来。[1]

民国时期已属山下乡。建国后村子曾分属县内第四、第五区，其间在铁场乡与临江区之间调整。1958年设铁场大队，属临江公社；1961年改属山下公社；1984年改设铁场村村民委员会，隶属山下乡。[1]

2020年11月，入选「2020年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单；2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名该村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

以铁坑村为南邻，水门村在西侧，北面以永兴镇的龙下村为界线。[1]

经济[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村内有耕地2173亩，并有林地23036亩，其中生态林2600亩、毛竹山1500亩、国有林8050亩；辖区内有丰富的铅锌矿产资源。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的庙后门山与龙塘瀑布，以及小铁坑一带生长的千年花梨木，是村中的主要景物。[1]
