高阳村是高阳乡的中心村，城乡分类上属乡中心区。高阳溪横贯全村，溪流自房道镇国岩山一带流来，在建瓯市房村汇入剑溪。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村落早先称叶墩，据说最早有叶姓人家在此居住，后改称高阳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期，此地属建瓯县房村区，后划入房道区。1964年设立高阳公社，原为一个大队的高阳与振科分为两个大队。1984年改为高阳村民委员会，隶属高阳乡。[1]

人口与土地[edit]

全村237户，总人口927人，党员40名。全村土地总面积12790亩，其中林地9799亩，耕地700亩。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2023年10月，高阳村入选2023年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[2]
